Authorities who investigated the death of the 42-year-old stay-at-home mom retraced not only the night of her death, but also her online life. 48 Hours goes inside the case in The Mysterious Death of Kat West airing Saturday, April 10 at 10/9c on CBS.
In the early morning hours of January 13, 2018, stay-at-home mom Kathleen Kat Dawn West, was found dead from blunt force trauma to the head. Her partially nude body was discovered across the street from her Calera, Alabama home.

It could soon become easier to get an electric vehicle in Connecticut.
A bill recently advanced out of the transportation committee that will allow manufacturers to sell electric vehicles directly to consumers something only automobile dealer to ships can now do. It would amend state statutes to allow electric vehicle manufacturers with sustainable business models and electric-only production to be granted new or used car dealer’s licenses. It’s now before the legislative commissioner’s office.

The press knows it, analysts know it too, and carmakers across the world understand it’s all just a matter of time until Apple officially takes the wraps off the Apple Car.
In the last few months, officials of several “traditional” carmakers commented on the rumors regarding an Apple Car, most of them explaining that Apple stepping into the automotive industry doesn’t represent a threat to their market share by any means.
And now the CEO of Lucid Motors shares pretty much the same message, explaining that Apple’s debut in this business only generates more competition. And eventually, competition is the one that pushes hard for innovation.
